On Wednesday night, the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Vanderbilt Commodores competed in game two of the College World Series Finals. Former Bulldog and current Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott was in attendance. He was spotted before the game outside the gates, and ESPN made sure to give him some screen-time during the game.

Dak got some love on social media for a few things as well.

Firstly, a foul ball was hit a few rows in front of Prescott and his fellow attendees of the game. A fan was able to snag it and proceeded to show it to Dak. Dak wasn’t in the camera view at first, but as it zoomed out, he came on the screen.

Prescott looked almost as excited as the fan that actually got the baseball. Dak whipped out a pen and asked the guy to toss it up to him for an autograph. Of course, the fan obliged.

It was pretty awesome. It’s part of what sports are all about, the fans.

Later in the game, the stadium showed Dak on the big screen in the outfield. He had a quick interview and pumped up an already-raucous crowd. The Mississippi State fans, not surprisingly, especially went bananas for the QB.

Also, a report surfaced earlier today that Dak had made a special donation to the entire Mississippi State baseball team.

It seems he wanted to reward them for a big win last night.

Some may say they wouldn’t have been able to get the victory without the support and luck of their former star QB.
